More about this wine from Columbia Valley, Washington

In 1976, Tom Hedges married Annie-Marie Liégeois in Champagne, France. Fast forward to 1989 and the young couple purchased fifty acres on Red Mountain in the Yakima Valley and planted Bordeaux varietals AKA Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay. It turns out Washington State it is the perfect place for a couple married in France to make their mark on the American wine scene. The juice is a light straw color and brilliantly clear. The nose is like the most abundant fruit basket you've ever come across, bursting with peach, gooseberry, lemon curd, citrus blossom, and side of some super boutique-y orange marmalade. The sipping is zippy and bright, with flavors of ripe lemon, peach, and a tasty touch of fresh biscuits. Your tastebuds may think you've just gotten that big pay raise you've been hounding your boss about, because this bottle tastes way more expensive than its actual price. So much about this wine is just incredibly gulp-able. It’s light, but brings the game on taste and style. It’s refreshing, thoughtful, and a breezy summer day in the park.
