More about this wine from Leyda Valley, Chile
In the summer you want to be on the beach with some solid rosé. But one thing takes that up a notch. It's when that bottle of rosé hails from a vineyard about a block from the Pacific ocean! Enter the 2018 Boya Rosé, the product of a ton of hard work by the Garcés Silva family, pioneers of the coastal Leyda Valley in Chile. Boya in Spanish appropriately means “buoy”!

The sea breeze sweeps away excess humidity and regulates temperatures, resulting in harvests two weeks later than in the other maritime-influenced valleys in the area. The harvest is completely by hand, as is the selection of bunches and grapes. The later harvest is what helps back all the flavor in this vino. The juice is light and refreshing with ripe, bright notes of raspberry, tangerine, and lemon zest that all end with a perfectly crisp finish.
