More about this wine from Abruzzo, Italy
Abruzzo is known as "the greenest region in Europe!" This doesn't mean it has more solar panels or windmills than anywhere in Europe, but it does mean that they take protecting nature super seriously! Almost half of the Abruzzo region is set aside as national park land and protected nature reserves. They take this same attitude when it comes to the magical grapes that hail from this region nestled on the beach, east of Rome.

These grapes are harvested by hand at the tail end of the picking season in mid-October, which means these little berries are loaded up with ripe flavors. The aromas are like an Italian nonna's (aka grandma) kitchen, and this granny makes some damn good pies with fresh fruit and spice. The sippin' is robust and full, coating the entire mouth with fruit, notes of balsamic flavors.
