More about this wine from Primorska Region, Slovenia
From the Western Slopes of Goriška Brda, Slovenia, where viticulture is a way of life, comes a bit of summer in a bottle. In this part of the world, you’ll find cherry, fig, and olive trees aplenty, as well as grape vines, like those at the Villa Brici vineyard. They’re cared for at the Klet-Brda wine cooperative on gentle sloping, mineral laden soils, with the gentle influence of the Adriatic and winds of the Alps. The winery produced this explosive bottle of Sauvignon Blanc in loam and sandstone soils in terraced vineyards 80-200 meters above sea level. It’s a charming Sauv that will leave you with a bite of spice at the end. Perfect for pre-dinner!
