On Uruguay’s Atlantic coast sits Montevideo, where much of the country’s small but mighty wines are grown. And it is here in 1904 that Carlos Domingo Traversa came to live with his Italian parents and eventually founded the Traversa winery that his family still still runs to this day. The environment in which their wine is made is important to them, so their vineyard runs 70% on solar power and uses sustainable practices. So you can feel really good drinking this really great herbaceous 100% Sauvignon Blanc, built with generations of hard work and eco-friendly methods.
How to drink it

Pro Tip:

 An herbaceous Sauv Blanc works amazingly with salads. We got a bit more creative with our greens and paired this vino with Green Eggs and Ham.
