More about this wine from IGP Valle del Cinca, Spain
On the site of a former Templar commandery (an old Catholic military order), sits Valonga, on the right bank of the River Cinca. This Spanish property has been managed by the same family since 1931 and farms walnut, olive and almond trees, and, of course, mouth-watering wine. Part of this 100% Syrah’s appeal is that the winery sits right in the middle of the vineyard, so you know you’ll be getting grapes that were crushed and pressed just after plucking. Yum. This spectacular wine is perfect for a BBQ, so go ahead and roll up with a few in hand.
