Was good with pastas
Would actually rate 3.5. Really nice merlot and I even used it in a beef stew and I think it really elevated that stew.
Darker red berries and plums--I wish there was a little more "dust" to counter the fruit, but it's still yummy
Smooth, very drinkable.
This was most likely a skunked bottle. It was vinegar. I drank one sip and spit it out.
The spice after taste was interesting and we were into it. Don't need to order again though, was just fine otherwise.
Some bottles are better than others. 50/50
I don’t drink much Merlot, but I enjoyed this one. A little higher alcohol content than I’m used to, so I drank it slowly over a few days. It was better on day 3 than on day 1, in my opinion. The strong tannins were a bit much for me on day one, but the flavor is nice and overall well-balanced.
Worked with red meat (and not-so-red meat) dinners. Not a standout however,.
3.5 / 5
I haven't bought a Merlot in years, but this one is actually quite enjoyable - it makes me wonder what I've been missing out on. I would absolutely drink this again. Cherry notes, smooth but distinct.
A solid, medium-bodied red. Nicely complimented Italian roasted chicken thighs with tomato, red pepper and onion.
Found this wine to be quite good. I poured it while fixing dinner and forgot about it, so maybe it opened up for me and didn’t have some of the other negative traits.
Was good with pastas
really yummy, tastes a bit like raisins
Good berries. Let it breathe a bit and you’ll find it quafable.
Very good! Super fruity and drinkable
Not smooth, even with food, even after breathing.
Nice wine, got better after it was allowed to breath. My first few sips were tart. After it was allowed to sit it was much better.
Drinkable but could use some decanting. A bit sharp at the front otherwise.
I love the design of the bottle, I think this would make a great gift.
Drinkable and not too heavy for a merlot.
I was very impressed by the Wild and Wilder Grenache Shiraz Mataro, but this maker comes up short with this Merlot. A tad tart and uninteresting flavor wise, I'll avoid this one on future orders. Will reorder the GSM
Nice 3.5 easy to drink with some complexity to it
I love this Merlot. It's one of the best selections I've received from Wine Awesomeness so far. Delicious and soft on the palate. Very flavorful as well.
A nice merlot

Giles Cooke, winemaker and Master of Wine is the cofounder of Wild and Wilder wines. While holding such an elite title in the wine biz, Cooke is better known for making wine that is meant to be enjoyed daily at a price point that doesn't require anyone to break into their 401K. After traveling the world and making wine in some of the world's most infamous regions, Cooke brought it back home and settled down in the Barossa Valley.
The Barossa Valley is rightly famed for its red wine production. The Exhibitionist is full of rich plum and damson fruit on the nose. The palate is dominated by rich, ripe red berry flavors that slide into more subtle earthy notes. The juice is aged for 6 months in old French oak barrels, but the oak isn't over the top on the tastebuds but leaves the juice with an elegant and silky long finish, making it a versatile wine!
