More about this wine from Alsace, France
The Dopff and Irion families can trace their lineage back to 16th century to the vineyard and Château Riquewihr, in the French Alsace region. Constructed in 1549, the Château was originally owned by the Princes of Wurtemberg, who ruled over the city and its region for centuries. Their Tradition line, of which this white blend is a member, is produced with grapes brought in by their 200 selected vine-growers. In this bottle, they are trying to put an undervalued German grape on the map, Sylvaner, a boisterous, grape—pairing it with hand-picked Pinot Blanc to give it a light and crisp but dynamic and robust taste.
How to drink it

Pro Tip:

This is a fab seafood wine, especially creamy ones like a classic chowder.
