Nestled amidst the majestic vineyards of Hungary's Villány wine region, Sauska Villány Rosé 2019 emerges from a landscape steeped in tradition and terroir. This picturesque region, known for its centuries-old vineyards and dynamic winemaking culture, provides the perfect backdrop for crafting wines that embody the essence of Hungarian refinement and sophistication.

Our Villány vineyards at the highest elevation are 200-260 m above sea level. The plantations are located behind a hill called Szársomlyó which protects the grape vines from the heat of the midday sun. The air temperature cools down at night, even during the summertime, which helps grapes from losing their acidity and reduces over-ripening.
