More about this wine from Canelones, Uruguay
As with all things WA, we’re here to help introduce under-recognized growers and grapes to an eager audience. So we’re excited to let you know about this wonderful Uruguayan wine we discovered that is 100% Tannat, a grape you may not have heard of. It’s one of Uruguay’s most favored grapes, cultivated in the South American country by French immigrants in the 1800s. It’s a possible rival to Malbec and Cab due to its oomph factor, plus it’s affordable — which is why we here at WA are such huge fans. Pick up a bottle of this powerful wine for a truly unique tasting experience.
How to drink it

Pro Tip:

This grape loves fats and proteins to cling to its might, so grill up some lamb chops to complement this velvety South American red.
