More about this wine from Central Valley, Chile
Patagonia is well known as the breathtaking, mountainous region way, way down in southern Argentina. It also happens to be a phenomenal wine-producing region that includes the provinces of Rio Negro, La Pampa, and Neuquen. The region is desert-like, cool and dry, which might scare off some less than ambitious winemakers. But over time, a number of vintners have worked the soil and their vines, creating internationally acclaimed bottles, especially elegant red wines like this mostly Merlot and Syrah blend. It’s ultra elegant, round, velvety, well-balanced and perfect for any pasta dishes!
