More about this wine from Salento, Italy
From the region of Taranto, which is located in the heel of the boot of Italy, on the Salento Peninsula, comes this red vino full of 100% trellis-trained Primitivo grapes. If you’re unfamiliar with this varietal, know it is the Italian name for Zinfandel. In times past, it was known primarily as a blending wine, but some intrepid winemakers have helped shed its skin, so to speak. And the Motturas, a 4th generation wine family, have given this big Italian Zin a strong personality, so be ready for powerful smooth drinking vino that’ll go super well with all your pastas.
How to drink it

Pro Tip:

Always good to pair wine with local food offerings, so enjoy this Italian Zin with a pasta with roasted veggies.
