More about this wine from Vaucluse, Rhône Valley, France
When you journey to Vaucluse in southern France, better put on your “Year in Provençe” slicker, ‘cause it’s gonna be raining Medieval castles, winding river canyon roads, fresh from the earth produce sold at picturesque farmer’s markets, and lavender fields as far as the eye can see. Oh, and it also has wine. Oodles of internationally acclaimed regions and estates; and this bottle of L'Ameillaud by Nick and Sabine Thompson is no exception. A blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Carignan grapes, it is typical of the southern Rhône valley – though its generous yet balanced tastes and aromas are anything but typical.
How to drink it

Pro Tip:

This classic French red needs some meat... we decided to pair it up with a not-so-classic Thanksgiving dish: Garam Masala Short Rib Roast With Pistachio Crust
