More about this wine from Touraine, AOC Loire Velley, France
Hailing from Touraine, home of aristocratic French castles and underground cellars in the heart of the Loire Valley, we’re so proud to bring you this stunning sustainably-farmed Sauvignon Blanc. On the left bank of the Loire’s tributary river Cher, not far from the stunning Château de Chenonceau, lie the vineyards of Luc Poullain. Here he looks after vines up to 70 years old that grow around lush grass in complex soils of chalky clay and limestone - what gives the Sauv its yummy factor. This bottle is another Mary Taylor pick, a longtime favorite importer of WA (who was also nominated as Wine Enthusiast’s 2022 Importer of the Year), so you know it’s going to be a high quality expression of its place. A real gem. Enjoy!
