Creamy, world-class Chardonnay straight from the California coast! Sonoma winemaker Jonathan Pey spent his early teen years in France — and it’s impressed upon him a desire to craft wines that unite Old World wine flair with ”why not?!” American attitude. He selected his Chardonnay from a small but mighty subregion of Monterey on the California coast, where the cool Pacific winds are perfect for helping these delicate white grapes ripen slowly and evenly for maximum flavor complexity. He says it's super enjoyable tonight, but if you want to squirrel away a couple of bottles for next year that could be fun as well. With a year or so bottle age, it will show more hazelnut aromas and a bit more texture too.

How to drink it

Pro Tip:

This Chardonnay grows near the chilly Pacific Ocean, and as such, salmon or other fatty fish pairs perfectly with it.
