More about this wine from Margaret River, Australia
Credaro Family Estate is the oldest family-run winery in Margaret River, one of the premier grape-planting regions of Australia. Cesare Credaro first planted seeds in 1922, not long after he and his brother settled in Carbunup from northern Italy. He worked on wineries through the 1920s and ‘30s, and his grandson led commercial growth in the 80s, and now along with his four great-grandsons, manage five sites over 140 hectares. All that family history and love has gone into this Cabernet Sauvignon-Merlot (with some Cabernet Franc) blend taken from their Carbunup River, Summus (Wilyabrup) and Cellar Door (Yallingup) vineyards. It was a great year for wine — the yields were low, but the quality was exceptional, and this refined red blend was a real stand out!
How to drink it

Pro Tip:

Red blends go with most red meats, so give this a try with Australia’s national dish: roast lamb.
