More about this wine from Conca de Barbera, Spain
The name of this bottle, Masia les Comes, was the name of the original Carbonell house, the Spanish wine family behind the Catalonian Clos Montblanc estate. Back in 1988, they decided to plant Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes on this particular plot of land, the original winery site, with the intention of producing their Clos Montblanc Reserva. The result of their efforts is this award-winning, unique, organic wine, that’s deep and soulful and yet totally clean and bright. As you open the bottle, get ready for its spices to jump out at you like a tiger from the jungle, and its tastes to sink into your senses like a comfy, leather club chair.
How to drink it

Pro Tip:

For this Cab-Merlot combo, fatty red meats are always a hit. But a classic Bolognese is downright heavenly.
