More about this wine from Colchagua Valley, Chile
New World vs. Old World is a constant clash in the wine world. Of course, the Old World AKA Europe has tradition and centuries of winemaking history, but sometimes all that heritage prohibits the creative spirit! We go more in-depth on the differences HERE. Chile is like the new cool kid on the block, and it is safe to say that the Ventisquero crew in Chile is making some excellent vino and also challenging the old rules of winemaking.

This Cab is jammy and delectable, but it isn't so big and bold to overwhelm in the summer heat. It pairs perfectly with beef! Think jalapeño and blue cheese stuffed hamburgers and T-Bone steaks. The nose is dominated by red fruit, such as ripe raspberries, blueberries, and blackcurrants, intermingled with black pepper, caramel, tobacco, and chocolate. This sippin' is easy and well-balanced with gentle tannins, more bright red fruit, but a touch of vanilla gets invited to the party with a persistent finish.

How to drink it

Pro Tip:

One of those special super moons is slated to be out this evening, and because you have pretty much nothing else going on, you're setting up a proper nighttime viewing experience in the park.
