More about this wine from Maipo Valley, Chile
Known for its deep color and unique flavors, the grape unto itself, Carménère, is only grown in a few regions around the world but has settled nicely into Chile’s warm valleys, especially the Colchagua Valley where this wine was made. In fact, Carménère loves growing in Chile so much, it may very well pass Merlot and become Chile’s second most widely planted red (well after Cabernet Sauvignon, of course). We think in this deep cherry red-hued 85% Carménère and 15% Syrah, you’ll really get a feel of the Andes and possibly a few huaso (Chilean cowboys).
How to drink it

Pro Tip:

Go ahead and enjoy this with soft cheese, creamy dishes, casseroles and stews and spicy dishes, etc. etc.
