More about this wine from Hawke's Bay, New Zealand
Given the rose gold, née orange, hue of this skin-fermented, organic, and naturally produced wine, it makes sense why Supernatural decided to take the name of this Pinot Gris from the unexplained orange light phenomenon observed in the Ozarks of southwestern Missouri and northeastern Oklahoma — aka 'spook light.' It’s always a bit of a thrill for a wine lover to come upon an orange-colored bottle. And even more so when said wine was produced under the direction of the young winemaker Hayden Penny — a preternaturally gifted vigneron who has a nose for producing distinct, only-in-New-Zealand style wines.
How to drink it

Pro Tip:

The spice and brightness of this Thai Green Papaya Salad is a perfect match with the richness of this unique Pinot Gris.
