More about this wine from Umbria, Italy
Nearly two centuries ago, local Umbrian landowners, the Lungarotti family, were producing wine and olive oil in the Mid-Tiber River valley. Until the 1930s, when Giorgio obtained a degree in Agriculture, focused on vineyard practices - and began to cover the family hillsides with vineyards. The family winery was established with his first bottled wine in the ‘60s, Rubesco, which remains one of the most famous Umbrian labels in the world. Since then, the winery has expanded and Lungarotti now produces about 2.5 million bottles for 29 different labels! And in this light and zesty white blend, you’re going to taste all of this familial love for the land in this bottle’s Trebbiano, Grechetto and other local grapes.
How to drink it

Pro Tip:

Shellfish is the go-to here, especially a mixed shellfish ragu!
