More about this wine from Chablis AOP, Burgundy France
From Chablis, the northernmost region of Burgundy, comes another winner from Mary Taylor, Wine Enthusiast’s 2022 Importer of the Year and a longtime favorite importer of WA. This 100% Chardonnay was reared in the region’s cold continental climate in soils of stony clay and limestone - the perfect environment to create a banger of an Old World Chardonnay. This grape thrives here in this small, old estate in the village of Beine, where it is able to peacock its best mineraly expression - particularly because winemaker Marine Descombe uses only the most natural methods at Passy Le Clou to showcase this Chablis of true purity and delight.
How to drink it

Pro Tip:

Scallops make for the perfectly delicate match with this fancy white, but you can still have fun with this Scallop and Bacon Pizza!
