So wonderfully smooth and dry, it drinks well all by itself or with a winter stew.
A little too acidic for me.
I loved it! And I usually like white wine better than red. But this red wine was spectacular.
I am a huge fan of Carmenere bur I just couldn't fall in love with this. Super acidic and "yeasty". Benefited from a long decanting period.
This was great. Mindy thought it wasn’t fruity enough but still liked it. Delicious with steak.
One of my favorites, delicous

Liked it a lot.
One of the better Carmeneres I have had. Jammy and delightful.
nice fruit to the taste. Smooth and not too much peper.
I would rate this a 3.75. Had some smokiness and leather that I really liked.
This one makes me pucker. The tannins maybe? It doesn't have the full-bodied fruit-forward richness or spicy zing I like
palate=smokey?, coffee/chocolate, rich med-full
would order again
My family and I loved this wine. I plan on ordering more. Perfect, smooth, full body finish.
I liked this wine, a simple red that goes well with a variety of food. A nice bottle to have on hand:)
Nice level of tanins and spicy-ness without being overpowering. Finish is fruity 4.5
Love Carmenere wines since we first drank them in 2015 on a trip to Chile
We really enjoyed this wine and intend to order more.
Jammy, drinkable cutie.
The crew at Ventisquero launched its vision for Chilean vino in the early 2000s. The mission was simple and is still in place today: show that vineyards in Chile can produce some of the best wine in the world. The team sought to challenge the status quo that South American wine is overly jammy and high in alcohol. It's now 15+ years later, and the team consistently produces top-notch Pinot Noir, Sauv Blanc, Carménère, and beyond.
Chile may be famous for its world-class Cabs, but if anything, Carménère is its signature wine. The grape may not be a household name like Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon, which is why we put together this grape guide. Whiffs of jammy red and black fruit pour out of this bottle. Each sip is a deluxe and delightful concentration of blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, and cherries that fade into some spice blended with hints of chocolate, tobacco, and vanilla. This Carménère is bold, big, and vivacious, which is exactly how it is supposed to be.
