Nice crisp slightly fizzy pinot grigio!
Nice crisp slightly fizzy pinot grigio!
Slightly bubbly and sweet. Great with poultry.
Very fruity. Almost peachy. Crisp
Very strong apple flavor. I bought the wrong one by mistake.
I am not a big fan of whites and wanted to try this one for the label. It is a great white wine but it is just not something I enjoy!
A great white. Not too sweet, just right
Great springtime sipper crisp and fresh with just a slight hint of sweetness
Like! Fruity tart
solid; sour-citrus-fruity and not too sweet. holds up well days 2 and 3. a little dryness to 'er.
Very light, crisp, not too dry. Nothing bad about it.
love this, dry and crisp
It definitely have to be chilled but otherwise, it was not bad. Not sure about the tangy end notes.
Pairs well with everything, very drinkable
Really good. Crisp. Reminds me of a savignon blanc
An interesting white. Enjoy this winemaker a lot.
Very fruity, a little floral
Nice nose, light body with good acidity. Good white.
Delicious! Really loved this. Juicy, not too dry, not too sweet.
Fruity with sweetness, light and easy drinking.
This was decent. I wouldn’t be made if I’d picked this up or brought it some where. Wouldn’t be upset if I had it again. But I wasn’t wow’d by it
Bright, crisp, and very tropical-- like an upgraded pinot grigio
I fell in love with this blend. Honestly, it’s why I signed up for WA. Lots of body and complexity for a white. White fruit, stone, floral... easy on its own or with chicken, turkey and vegetarian dishes.
Can drink with food but not alone
Very smooth white
Excellent, nice and fresh
Nikki liked more than Adam.
easy drinking white
I didn’t like the first taste but it grew on me.
Nice and fruity. Liked it a lot.
Really enjoyed this light, easy drinking, patio wine
Summery tart. Good but not really for me.
OK. Added acid to help balance sweet.
Nice, very good wine
Not a bad white blend. Nothing super special about this other than the label, which is fun. I do like the size of the bottle though.
Hubby liked, it was ok to me citrus tastes if you like that in a wine
It took a few sips to get into it, but its very nice and light
light and refreshing
Kinda left a weird taste in my mouth. Good on the front.....I’m trying the rosé and orange next.
Really good, all around white. Got a couple of them now.
Light and crisp
Tasty, refreshing and smoothie.
My wife loved it
Delightful - fruity and well balanced white wine.
Liked this one very much
Fruity, peachy flavor
Good sweet summer wine.
loved it! perfectly dry, crisp, low tannins
This is a lovely wine for warm weather sipping. Off-dry, lush and interestingly complex with notes of honeysuckle and melon. Nice crisp finish; nicely balanced. The nose is faintly redolent of boxwood, which is oddly pleasing to me and also reminds me of a lovely Garganega I enjoyed years ago. This wine will be perfect with cheese and fruit boards and I am looking forward to trying it with honeydew and cantaloupe wrapped in prosciutto. Cold shrimp with mango salsa as well as any fruited chicken salad would also be lovely as an accompaniment. The label art is a big plus because, you know, I've been abducted too ;)
Chris didn’t love it
Light and not too dry
Liter bottle is a big plus.
Very tasty. Bad hangover.
Acid, medium bodied, fruit forward
SO fresh and super cool.
Pretty light and refreshing could go with fish
And now for something completely different... please meet the creation that appears to be out of this world from one of Slovenia's top winemakers, Peter Gönc: 2019 Grape Abduction White! Peter is a young gun just making a name for himself, but his pedigree is four generations of winemakers, and the Grape Abduction line of wines shows off some serious winemaking chops!
The juice is a blend of Pinot Blanc and Yellow Muscat grown on a single vineyard in Štajerska-Slovenia (the Podravje region). The grapes thrive in the harsh environment of the rocky hills in Slovenia. Sometimes Pinot Blanc gets knocked for not being too exciting of a grape, but in its youth, the grape brings a lush roundness of flavor to your glass, and when paired with a sidekick this party can really get started! For Gönc, that sidekick is Yellow Muscat, which is very fun and fresh with tropical, crisp notes of lychee. This grape duo is like liquifying fresh white flowers in a perfect meadow and sipping it while the sun sets. See more from winemaker Peter Gönc below.
