More about this wine from Gascony AKA Southwest France
La Salette is one of the great crowd-pleasing, family-owned wineries, consistently putting out quality wines, and particularly refreshing whites. They’ve been around since 1971, working their clay and limestone soils near the town of Condom (yes, folks) in the southwest area of France. This white blend is made up of a few unique grapes: 80% Colombard, 10% Ugni Blanc and 10% Gros Manseng. The combination is a real winner of a wine, perfect for summer because it’s crisp and fruity and extremely inexpensive given the quality of the taste. It’s going to be one of your fridge faves, so stock up now!
