Here comes another banger of a wine from Mary Taylor, a long time favorite importer of WA - who was nominated as Wine Enthusiast’s 2022 Importer of the Year! This white blend is from Portugal by way of the Douro wine region which is one of the world’s most glorious - not just for its wines, but it’s also an UNESCO World Heritage site. The grapes Malvasia Fina, Viosinho, Rabigato and Gouveio are distinctly Portuguese as is the small winery in Pinhao that produced this Branco. Terroir is what you’re tasting here in every big, aromatic sip.
