Well, we think so — and so does Daniel Brennan, a Philadelphian, who after tasting a Martinborough Pinot Noir, left for New Zealand in 2007 to learn to make wine. Other than a few bucks, he took the spirit of his great-grandfather, Michelino Rodolico, a Sicilian winemaker, with him on his epic journey. Now Brennan is creating wines using classic practices, minimal intervention, and a community-based attitude!
