More about this wine from Ribera del Guadiana, Spain
This 100% Tempranillo hails from Castilla IGP, the largest appellation in Spain (that makes nearly half the country’s wine!), and also happens to be one of the most arid regions in the Iberian Peninsula. The family winery that produced this wine primes their vines to benefit from the daily temperature swings to create an incredibly structured and versatile wine. You will not mistake the terroir in this wine for anywhere but the arid plains of Castilla La Mancha. This single varietal wine is everything you hope for from a Tempranillo - full of lush, powerful fruit yet every sip is so welcoming and sincere.
