More about this wine from Southern France
The name Rubus actually means blackberry, raspberry or a genus of flowering plants in Latin, and it's also the name of a project created by specialty importer Fran Kysela as a way to source and sell super yummy, fruit-driven wines at fantastic prices. This Rubus White Blend is a blend of three different (and very interesting) grape varietals – Colombard, Ugni Blanc & Gros Manseng – each vinified separately in limestone and clay soils in Southern France. You’re going to absolutely love this bottle for its clean and fresh feel and its zesty and fruity taste (plus its slightly darker bottle that protects the wine from light, giving it a few extra months of freshness).
