More about this wine from Rueda, Spain
This bottle is from the Rueda region, long-known as a power seat of winemaking, especially for Verdejo. It’s an old-style Spanish white grape that for many years was only known inside its native Spain. But because of a few winemakers faith in its fruity and light-bodied style, this wine has been making an entrance on the wider stage as of late. This straw-yellow bottle displays the classic Verdejo aromas — flowers and fruit that are clean and bright. And after tasting this white wine, those in long-term relationships with Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio might decide to become polyamorous.
