More about this wine from Sonoma County, California
The Ridge Three Valleys name tells you all you need to know about the red grapes in this bottle. This Sonoma County winery harvests traditional Cali grapes from around their mid-Cali region from ten local vineyards: five in Alexander Valley, four in Dry Creek Valley, and one in Sonoma Valley. Unlike their single-vineyard wines which are meant to show off the character of that particular site, Three Valleys' M.O. here is to show off their regional character. While this wine has a mostly Zinfandel personality, Petite Sirah and a few other grapes gives it a stamp of spice and complexity.
