More about this wine from Arroyo Grande Valley, California
In the not too distant past, canned wines were somewhat controversial. Wine snobs were offended and vino newbies weren't sure if they could trust the quality of the juice in then can. Then we found winemaker Andrew Jones. Jones spends his days as a vine nursery fieldman planning and planting vineyards for farmers all over California, and Andrew is sometimes offered small lots of their best fruit on the side. Having stood in just about every vineyard on the Central Coast, he has a keen eye for diamonds in the rough: sites that are unknown or under appreciated but hold enormous untapped potential.

Then nose of this wine is like your imagination takes you to one of the tiny, deserted islands in the Hawaii archipelago that is filled with perfect versions of kiwis, melons, pineapple, and starfruit. As you sip on this lush chard the tropical fruit slowly fades into a crisp, refreshing, and long finish with a Granny Smith apple tart bite.
