More about this wine from Nemea Valley, Corinth, Peloponnese, Greece
While French in origin, Chardonnay is one of the noble grapes for a reason — it’s a real jet setter that grows just about anywhere. And with this bottle, you’re in for a real treat, because this varietal acclimates easily in Greece, especially in the more mountainous and cooler regions like Nemea where Zacharias winery lives. Although 2002 was the date this vineyard’s first vintage was released, its winemaking history dates back to 1962. And, these days, the vineyard covers about 100 acres of land boasting 32 varietals, including indigenous Greek grapes, and this fruit-centric, lively and bright Chardonnay.
How to drink it

Pro Tip:

This Chard really zips with some more zesty style dishes and this White Pesto Pasta provides just the right amount of zippiness
