More about this wine from Languedoc, France
A mandate in French wine country was recently passed allowing some of Foncalieu’s better (but smaller) plots in Languedoc to blend their high quality but “too few for production grapes” with larger ones to produce one terrific wine. Thus, the extremely dignified red grapes in this bottle were saved from the jaws of death (being blended with lower quality wines) — and the “injustice” of Gallic viniculture has finally been righted. And you, wine lover, are the beneficiary of this new law. With Liberté, Égalité, and Fraternité for all who drink this red blend.
How to drink it

Pro Tip:

Reds do not typically pair up too well with seafood dishes, but this lighter body French vino really comes together with this tomato sauce-drenched rock shrimp!
