More about this wine from Lodi, California
Here is a little-known but interesting fact in wine history: the Zinfandel grape was one of the first varieties to be planted in the Lodi area during the California Gold Rush. So this varietal holds an especially special place in the hearts of producers Fran Kysela and Kysela Pere et Fils who are hell bent on churning on fruit-driven wines highlighted by impressive terroirs. They put together this particular Zin (with a little dollop of Petite Sirah) and churned out a full-bodied wine that will win you over with its toasty, spiced-out, smoked-up fruit.
How to drink it

Pro Tip:

Zin loves the meat section, so how about a nice, juicy bacon burger?
